Prickly Wild Rose (Rosa acicularis) is Alberta's provincial flower and was chosen by the schoolchildren of the province back in 1930.

- Petrified Wood
- Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep (Ovis canadensis)
- Bull Trout (Salvelinus confluentus)
- and the Great Horned Owl (Bubo virginianus)

thought I would say I say six pelicans yesterday flying over the 67 street bridge. They are big birds, it is nice to have them back this year.
